Claire Cooper, based in St Albans & Wheathampstead, provides face to face and online counselling and therapy to clients
Why Choose Counselling?
Are you experiencing a challenge that feels too difficult to cope with? Maybe you are dealing with overwhelming feelings of anxiety or depression? Perhaps you've suffered a loss or bereavement and are managing these emotional challenges with unhelpful patterns of behaviour? I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, stress, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. I also have experience in helping people with a range of eating disorders.
I understand how hard it can be to take the first step towards counselling. Whether online or at my practice in St. Albans and Wheathampstead, I offer a safe and confidential space where, together, we can work through the issues that are unique to you.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches that will help support you in finding a way forward.
We all struggle from time to time, and there is no shame in reaching out for help, although at first it may feel daunting. I offer a safe and confidential space to talk through your issues, to help you to work through some of those pent-up emotions that you may have been trying to ignore.
Issues with mental health are becoming more common, especially due to the recent COVID-19 situation. Isolation has led to a rise in social anxiety and depression, and brought underlying relationship issues to the fore.
Therapy is an investment in yourself. I work within an integrative framework to help you explore your thoughts and feelings, with a view to improving your situation.
